THE HAFIDZ CERIA CLASS PROGRAM TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ ENTHUSIASM IN MEMORIZING THE QUR’AN AT MI AHMAD YANI WONOAYU

This community service research aimed to increase students’ enthusiasm for Qur’an memorization through the Hafidz Ceria Class Program at MI Ahmad Yani Wonoayu. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the study involved teachers, students, and parents in planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation revealed improved student motivation, participation, and consistency in memorization. The program successfully created a joyful and spiritual learning environment, demonstrating that participatory and emotionally engaging methods can effectively strengthen Qur’anic learning in Islamic elementary education. Moreover, the Hafidz Ceria Class Program contributes significantly to the advancement of Islamic education by offering an innovative model that integrates motivation, spirituality, and community participation
