Peer Review Process

Al-Muntadā - Journal of Humaniora and Sciences  uses an online submission and peer-review system. Submissions and peer reviews for each article must be managed through this system and are subject to the following Peer Review Policy:

  1. The Editorial Board is responsible for selecting manuscripts and appointing reviewers.
  2. Articles will be published only if they comply with the author guidelines and manuscript preparation standards.
  3. Articles are generally reviewed by at least one independent reviewer.
  4. Reviewers are selected based on their previous reviewing experience or their area of expertise.
  5. Reviewers are unaware of the authors' identities, and vice versa (double-blind review process).
  6. The review process will evaluate the novelty, objectivity, methodology, scholarly impact, conclusions, and references of the manuscript.
  7. The editor will communicate the final decision regarding the submission to the corresponding author based on the reviewers' recommendations.
  8. The Editorial Board must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted materials and all communications with reviewers.
  9. Prior to publication, authors are required to sign a Copyright Notice.
  10. The Editorial Board shall follow the Journal’s policies regarding the disclosure of conflicts of interest by both authors and reviewers.

Al-Muntadā - Journal of Humaniora and Sciences  applies three types of editorial decisions :

  1. Accepted
  2. Revisions Required (The manuscript will be accepted after revision)
  3. Rejected (typically due to being outside the scope and aims of the journal, major technical issues, or lack of clarity in presentation)
